We constantly seek to grow our family of imprints through acquisitions across
all genres. We seek to be a leader in providing options to publishers who
may wish to sell all or any portion of an imprint.
- All Cash Purchase Price—We have access to capital and can provide an all
cash purchase price.
- Speed—We work quickly to complete acquisitions on any timeline required
by a seller-publisher.
- Flexibility—We understand that every publisher is different and has different
needs in pursuing a sale of its business. We design each transaction to fit each publisher's needs. For instance, we can purchase just a backlist in order to provide funds to a publisher that will enable it to grow its more profitable frontlist. In fact, we often place a significant premium on backlists and may offer more for a backlist than other buyers will pay for an entire company. We can also structure acquisitions to pay cash at closing, make payments over time or make performance based payments.
